a short spooky VN of decent human-looking ghosts and cat spirit, has little neat click-and-point aspect meshed with the monochrome-shaded look and grimy-filtered backgrounds.
the cat was very squosh-able cute with that irresistible look.
some things could be maybe smoothed out over more, characterization with the pacing wrapping up the good ends where it felt just kinda ‘put a bandaid over their trauma’ and the characters managing/(had) to fell for MC & vice versa too quickly so the romance can lean towards a natural-burn chemistry or something. Though the story’s build-up at start for context through flashbacks learning about them and getting to experience in their shoes of their deaths were solid enough.
and some personal added suggestion from me would be developing bonds in saving everyone including the cat with few or all by friendships and leaving romance reserved for one.
found some incosistencies in dialogue, like the first meeting with Theo still yet to be introduced or something along how the comment below explained it.
Also some missed characters’ name when speaking their own dialogues; Theo’s on “I don’t know why I always fell for it … ” and for Alex; “I like you too… I think you’re a wonderful person.”
And the cat’s pronoun just got mixed up here.
The artwork is really nice. And the story is interesting.
But there's a glitch (or something) when you knock on Theo's door. After your choice, he lets you in, and you somehow know his name before he introduce himself. Which is kinda weird.
"Are you....Alex?" As I'm talking Theo moves and lets me into his room.
That's literally what the game says, in that order, with nothing between those sentences.
Oh, and after that, the mc talks about how Theo can't be so bad....right before you realize it must be Theo.... oO
You may wanna check that section out.
And it's kinda difficult to hit the buttons to move the Save screan forward to fit more saves. It works, but it's tricky to hit since the mouse cursor is slightly out of sync with the actual targetic mechanism.
There's no good answer to Alex's question. lol I like Theo. I don't like Ophelia. So how do I answer whether I like both or not? oO
The mc is ridiculusly naive and trusting. >_> But based on what kind of 'friends' she have I presume that is perfectly in-character for her. Sadly....
Out of curiousety.... Why can't you choose Ophelia? Is her route not finished or something? Or is it because I didn't flirt with her, and told Theo he's hot?
(Not that I like her, but it seemed weird when she was presented as an option.)
The ghost is a bit out of touch with reality if he thinks you can just choose who to fall in love with like that tho. (And that's without even considering how it could solve someone's trauma.)
I'm also surprised what ends in the "normal end" doesn't just loop back to the beginning (minus the first introductions --although I suppose you -could- send you in a 'time loop' instead if you want to make the programming simple) so that instead of an ending it becomes an infinity-loop until you make a choice.
(Or maybe add a petulant refusal with an ending saying you got stuck in an infinity loop until you died and ended up as a ghost because you refused to choose, after the first loop. xD)
By and large I really like this game.
I just wish the concept was developed a little bit more. Like maybe you can't meet them until after you find all the puzzle pieces or something.
(I found the letter and only the letter.)
I think with a little bit of polish this could be a really great game.
Heyyyy !!Great game, i love the plot and writing !!and he sprites and CGs are so cute, like aaaaa yes !!And Theo is so cute ahshgdhsdghg i wanna give sm love to this man he deserves it like yes ur great and cute and we'll murder these dumb highschoolers together (or i will on my own) All the characters are just so touching and i wanna hug them and save them all, they deserve love and happiness and peace anhkdbfgdkjbgkfdb

out of the 13 ends i got the 3 good ones,
and then i got: cat end, normal end, you died cat doesnt bite, yandere theo bad end (<33this man can choke me and murder me anyday), you died: its not ophelias fault (imSorryForSayingThatToYouOphelia), you died: dont be mean to theo (ImSorryForThatTooTheoIWantedAllTheEnds), you died: alexs siblings (SorryAlexSameExcuseIFeltBad)
So theres 3 ends i didnt manage to get (?2 bad ends and the special ends?i was thinking the special end mightve smth to do with the closed door we never get to open ?or if we manage to save them all somehow but i didnt manage to do that?
also thought other bad ends might be if we get into their routes but dont get close enough to them but it doesnt seem possible?because then you just dont get into their routes
ANYWAY im rambling and confused and tried to find if there was a walkthrough available on here or in the files and didnt find one so i need help please dev im begging you i need to know moreeeee
Soooo if theres any walkthrough i missed can someone tell me please ?or give me indications if its possible

I liked the events that touched LI’s past😊 I also like that every bad ending ends in a LI-like way. Although I was slightly surprised by the difference between the CG and the sprite, I’m glad that Ophelia’s CG was beautiful. (And, of course, I love the sprites; they’re adorable.)
